SWA Class - April 20th

I walked into the house 3 hours of the birth of my 4th son, the phone rang and it was Kim U. inviting me to the April 20th class. What a day! In all the excitement, I forgot to ask how many are in the class.

My info:

Type-May 2002
Interview-Oct 12th, 2005 (There was 2 of us left from that date & I was the last one with the last name ending in "T")
In the pool since Nov 16th 2005

class dates are based on your date of interview or type rating date whichever occured later. the order of selection for a class from the same interview date is based on alphabetical order by last name, A first Z last. once in class seniority is based on age.

Seems like 6 months is the going rate. That would put me at the end of July. However, that's not what Kim told me. Sounds like classes will be slowing down after May.

Howdy Ya'll,

Anybody remember the dates and numbers from the Oct, Nov and Dec interviews? I remember there was a post with all the numbers of people and such but can't find it with a search.

Thanks for the kind words! Here are all the interview dates through Feb. They have called at least through Oct 14:

Oct 11,12,13,14,18,19,20,21,25,26,27,28: 12 per day
Nov 15,16,17,18: 18 per day
Dec 6,7,8,9,10,13,14,15,16,17: 12 per day
Jan 10,11,12,13,17,18,19,20,24,25,26,27: 12 per day
Feb 7,8,9,10,14,15,16,17,21,22,23,24: 12 per day

April 20th class!!

I too got the call from Kim U. for the April 20 class!! I interviewed on Oct 19. I know of atleast 2 others from my interview class that got in the pool but do not know if they got a call for class yet. See everyone in Dallas.

Just curious - What indications do you have that classes will slow down after May? When did Kim say you'd probably start?

I am a poolie with a Nov 18th interview date. Kim U. said to expect a June class date. But, it may be July if things look to slow down after May (??)

I'm just guessing based on the recent past dates of interview to class from when Kim told me I would be in class. She said end of 3rd quarter to beginning of the 4th quarter. I'm guessing that's Aug. - Oct. I interviewed end of Jan. so that's 7 - 9 months, 1-3 months longer then the current time frame. Therefore, they must be slowing down classes. Just my hypothesis.
