Ok... we went out to Las Vegas and couldn't find a house we liked, so we decided to build in Henderson. Contract Signed... House to be done in June... Vegas, here we come!!!

OMP

Congratulations and a warm welcome. Vegas is a great base with lots of diverse trips. I hope you enjoy it there.

Has anyone had SWA pay for your moving expenses yet?
If so, How much will they pay?

They only pay if a new base opens up. Congrats on Vegas best kept secret in the system. Whose your builder out there? Btw get your NV ID ASAP! Lots of great local specials for shows on the strip.

Since you are an AirTran transition you will get a paid move. Up to 18,500 lbs I think. It was fantastic they do everything. They will pack everything, ship it and unpack at the other end. Never saw a bill or anything. And you get six paid moving days plus expenses. They give you a set amount for gas which isn't really enough but they pay for your hotels and food along the way. Get ahold of Willie Wilson at Southwest and he will answer any questions.

Cheers Will

Regarding were to live:

PHX: Anywhere in the East Valley is good, avoid the West Valley like the plague.

LAS: Henderson or out in the Summerlin/West Spring Valley area.
