I'm not calling my CEO a liar but I'm saying it's in the interpratation. The "growth" is coming in the form of the acquisition. There was no growth before at either company and in my opinion the yields will not support any growth afterwards.

Riiiight. It's in the interpretation. Sure. Right. Tell that to the arbitrators, and their opinions actually matter.

OY6 - NO L I F E. Did you spout off about how great UAL was back in the day, you know, before they furloughed you.

Did you recover all your lost wages from that furlough. Do you have a furlough fund, for when Delta cuts flights and trims the last say 100 guys off the list (meaning you)?

Does Delta plan to recapture that flying that was OUTSOURCED to RJs?

Worry about your own house. We don't need or want your help.

Save my job? That loss was due to the Japanese earthquake and resulting cutbacks (almost back to normal now), and high oil which has recently dropped 15% to below $100 a barrel. Look at the articles in Yahoo today about airlines, all got upgrades, and DL stock was up almost 3%, vs less than 1% for LUV. I think I'm doing great, and we don't have stagnation coming up like you do. You will lose seniority and stay there. We have retirements coming, which means upward movement. You know the rest.....

OYS
I agree with you that we may be stagnant. But at least during our stagnation I will hold on to my job and not have masssive contract give backs. If history is a guide you will not. How long have you been on furlough from UAL? Ohh and during said stagnation I will be earning more than you until you upgrade as will every single AAI pilot.
I thought fair and equitable meant that no one was supposed to lose. I have faith in the process.
Your attempts to divide this pilot group are pathetic. If you are not scared of the competition that the combined AAI/SWA will bring then why do you spend so much time on something that you have no stake in?

OYS,

Mandarin chicken with a side of steamed veggies. Tasty but just not the same with a plastic fork (I prefer chopsticks).

True dat. Welcome to the ATL.

All of the above.... In any case this thread is getting way off the beaten path, the PG rating is still in effect...

And Dicko... your record ain't the cleanest.. you have no room for judging me.. joke or no joke ... bantering with me gets you nowhere... please just follow the rules here.. My warning came as a result of a explicit sexual statement from another member, which was deleted.. it was not aimed at you, but if the shoe....

Hey,

No hard feelings and i know you are trying to do your job.

My point was; "big boy games, big boy rules".

Take care,

D.

Hearing that some widebodies will be parked OYS, kinda like when United started parking 747-400 that were only a few years old. Looks like a rough summer for mother Delta..

RF

Incorrect. A much better Summer due to lower oil and previous fare hikes still remaining. The widebodies that will be parked actually were going to get lie flat seats anyway in the Fall, but it sounds good, right? They come back 3 months later. 2 744s will be returned to lessors in 2012,(not this year) and the remaining 744s will have increased utilization, since those 2 were mainly spares. Lower oil will really help. You did say we weren't going to make Q2 or Q3 profits, right? Look what the analysts are saying now.
