SW July 5th Class?

If my 2nd grade math ability serves me correctly, today should be the day that the SWA PD starts calling people for the 5 July class.

Any calls?

Just trying to plan for the future.

I interviewed in the 1st week in april, and was called to "continue the process" after the C.B. meeting on May 5th. I have not been contacted since. Anyone had a call for the July 5th class yet? Any info on what schedule SWA is calling the "pool" would be greatly appriciated.

I also interviewed in April and am "continuing the process." I think the Jun 21 class is primarily guys who interviewed in March. Conservative math says that all of the "hired" guys from March interviews will most likely fill classes until end of July. It has been estimated that 70 or so guys were hired from the March interview group. Assuming 10 or so are unavailable for a while and assuming they train 22-24 per class with 2 classes a month - my guess is that April interview guys will fill Aug training dates. And that is my absolutely uneducated guess at this process.

I interviewed 23 Mar, but there's an 8 Mar interviewee in the class as well (availability problem).

Well done folks. I know you have worked hard & deserve a rest from the stress of the airline application process. I would normally try to come by & say hi during the new hire party but will be in Montana vacationing. Good luck & make sure you treat your spouses to a great evening sometime soon as a way of saying thanks for sticking behind you as you have pursued this goal. Both of you will have a great time during the first couple of days at SWA. Good luck & thanks again for applying at SWA....we'll need a lot more in the years to come! C U in big D.

Thanks Chase for all your help. I got the call today for the 6 July class. I interviewed on the last day in March, 25th. April canidates should be coming soon.
