From our DL MEC weekly update:

"The MEC Jumpseat Committee Chairman reports that the Delta pilots now have access to the flow-through jumpseat on Southwest, and SWA agents have been informed of this. We are awaiting a final agreement between the two airlines so that the Southwest have reciprocal privileges at Delta."

More to come shortly, I hope. It sure does take a while for some reason, but eventually everyone will be able to flowback to the back--and more than one at a time for sure.....

Thanks General

Yes we have the word also...final details to be worked out but the agreement appears to be nearly final I'm told. SWA hopes to be up fully CASS certified by the end of April which will allow much more access also for all CASS certified carriers....many others have led the fight before SWA...glad to get it approved & help others & to allow for our folks to have other options...commuting is tough regardless of how one does, reciprocal unlimited jumpseats can be a huge stress reliever though...hope to see you out there sometime GL...I'll be a regular commuter sometime this fall or winter, hopefully after upgrade!!!

Chase,

You guys/gals at SW have always been very good to us, even when we couldn't give more than one seat at a time. I think this will be great for a lot of people, and hopefully more companies will do this with us. I believe our management said we will have CASS by August, but hopefully sooner. Thanks again and maybe I will see you out there---I fly San Juan turns in the Winter from ATL, and ANC red eyes in the Summer.

Bye Bye--General Lee

Yea I do the same thing, change things around a little summer to winter....Harlingen's during the winter, Midland's during the summers:rolleyes: ....gotta luv it!!!

Chase,

I've noticed that MAF is just exactly like Aspen. I mean identical...... if you don't count the mountains, snow and beautiful people.
