Mr. Concorde dude sir...

after reading your post over and over again, I almost have to ask... if you saw the same dog that was waiting in the black lexus with the windows opened a bit, parked in the mall parking lot. He was barking and barking and as I locked my own car, I looked over at this dog and I could have sworn that when he barked, I saw the dog mouth the words..."I am the CHOSEN one...you must obey me!"

Is THAT what this is all about, Mr. Concorde dude sir? (littIe vs little)

Yeah... I'm not sure of the story behind my avatar, but its definitely not a pretty parking job.

I think my last avatar was better, but gotta keep movin' on.

Meanwhile.. back to Mr Concorde and the voices in his head...

FL717, as far as your avatar goes, maybe I can shed some light. What you are seeing in the photo is an Express I(now Pinnacle) airlines Saab in a ditch outside our maintenance hangar in Memphis. Mechanics taxied the plane over for maintenance to be performed. They set the parking brake, but failed to chock the aircraft. Anybody with any experience in the Saab will tell you that sometimes the parking brake would release after the hydraulic pressure would bleed-off, over time, after the aircraft was shut down. Sure enough, the brake disengaged and the plane wound up in the ditch. I think they brought a crane over to lift it out. For you XJ folks, I believe it is tail #N366PX, aka the "ditch witch". :)

The "ditch witch"! Thats classic. Thanks for the info. Its all good as long as nobody gets hurt or loses an eye. I may have to change the description over the avatar!
