How long for the 2nd email/detailed app? I filled out the short one about a month ago, still no 2nd email. Should I get my Master's degree?
Masters degree?? really? this isnt Southwest here.... to go out and get a Masters just for Spirit airlines... wow is all i gotta say

Is there any way to update the short app filled out on the Internet? I dont know anyone there but would still like to keep things up to date just in case.

I am hoping to hear from them. I do not have a LOR and applied when they first opened the window. From everything I read it sounds like Spirit is a great place to be and with ACY only a couple of hours away it would be a easy commute for me.

I have a 2 bedroom condo in the Bella Vita gated community. It is located just south of Flamingo on Decatur. The Palms and Rio are a very easy walk and the strip is well within reach. Condo is fully renovated with granite kitchen/bath counters, brand new carpet/paint. Within the gated community are numerous tennis courts, pools and fitness center which you will have free and full access to. Unit is top floor with a huge balcony in very quiet secluded corner. The owner occupies one bedroom and is only around a few nights here and there. The 2nd bedroom is the crashpad room where there are 2 nice beds and you will have your own bed so no hot sheeting here. You will need a car or otherwise will need to rely on the public transportaion system which is a bit of a hasstle but it is possible from the crashpad to the airport. Condo also has a free washer/dryer in the unit. Free Wi-Fi also included in rent. Basically everything is provided here and all you have to bring is your pillow/bedding. $175 a months gets you in this very nice crashpad. PM me if you would like any additional information and are interested in getting in.

Hey everyone, I was just reading on APC a comment stating that Spirit will not give the time of day to corporate pilots. With that being said, does having a 135 background maybe break down that barrier a little bit. I would really like to hear what people have to say with respect to 91/135 guys and gals getting on with Spirit.

Good weekend,

Avrat

How Long will they be hiring? How many a month? And how long for a class date after the interview? (if your hired of course)

Thanks

My understanding of the new hires is...internal LORs, and mostly regional CA's with a few others in there (ex MidWest, cargo, and I do personally know of a handful of ex NetJet and even current corporate folks interviewing and even getting an offer).

I hear for the foreseeable future--planned deliveries are 30 in the next 36 months. 12-24. 6-8 weeks.
