HueyPilot,

Again, TDYs are not a problem in a peacetime gunship squadron. I was pleasantly surprised how much time I had at home. We had to fight for TDYs hehe. However, right now, just about any AFSOC assignment will require beaucoup TDY. This war against terrorism will be fought with special forces. Heck, I've been flying for Northwest Airlines for awhile and still got a letter from the AFSOC/CC to come back and fly gunships for either a 2 or 3 year assignment. They are stretched thin right now. I'd go back in a heartbeat, but the wife's not for it. Good luck with your decision.
