Hardcorr & dink
I agree with you both. This website is a great source of info and normally filled with upbeat thoughts/encouragement. Most posters on here (including GL) generally focus on the positive sides of things and I hope we return to what the original intent of this forum was designed to be, interview information.
As the folks who begin interviewing at SWA on 8 Mar return to their homes I encourage all of them to post your observations and thoughts on the process on here. Yes every airline has lost good folks through their interview process....any of us can have a bad day flying an ILS & the same came be said for interviews. The fewer of these (& FAA checkrides) the better.
What this board has been in the past was a source of info for folks who may not have had contacts at the various airlines or knew about the "gouge" that is out there. Many have posted their observations in the past & in the process others have "maybe" owed some of their success to others intel that was posted on here. That is the remarkable thing about the site.
I don't wish to glorify SWA as the end all, be all, it isn't but neither do I wish to slam other carriers. As dink said, timing and good luck has a lot to do with it, in my case it was both & the good Lord looking after fools & idiots (double duty in my case), cheers & have a great weekend.
