Boston is an hour drive from pvd. Charter a few buses and they would be home in no time. This is SWA we are talking about though. As people have said before, you get what you pay for!

They should have taken Northeast Airlines, they have more experience in the north eastern regional air operational district zone area thingy.

Why go to BDL, much closer.

thats what I tought about 2 seconds into reading this, however maybe the SWA BDL ground crew had packed it in for the night already. The other thing and I know its reporting "drama" but people are like its the end of the world if they have to spend the night in the terminal. Like their left on the streets in Harlem or something. And o my god like you baby is going to shrivel up and die if it misses a day of formula - the mexican or russian babysitter probibly treats/beats the kid worse when you leave it with them for work all day you super concerned parent.

Why is it that passengers think the airline should take care of them when there is a divert.

Whether it was a weather issue or ATC issue. How is that the carriers responsibility. Who gives a crap if they had to spend the night in the terminal.

I'm convinced it must be the metal detectors that scramble their brains.

Pipe,
You can't just go winging into some offline airport (SWA doesn't serve BOS) in the middle of the night and just pull into some empty jetway. It doesn't work like that. In your CRJ, you bring your stairs with you. At SW, you don't. Think about it...

As far as getting what you pay for...#1 in customer service how many times over???

Typical Southwest super pilot attitude.
