Southwest Ranks Number One in Customer Service for 2005!
Congratulations on meeting our goal of having the fewest Customer complaints for the entire year! It took a concerted effort from every Southwest Employee to earn this remarkable achievement. Way to go, Team!

The DOT released yearend and December operating statistics for 2005. The top performers in each category of the DOT’s Air Travel Consumer Report for Yearend 2005 are listed below.
Yearend 2005
Complaints (per 100,000 Customers)
1. Southwest 0.18
2. JetBlue 0.29
3. ExpressJet 0.31

wheres Fed Ex?

SW has done well in the past, & this is no exception.

Just like Nortwest Airlines has continuously sustained the title of treating customers, emloyees, and everyone else like sh!t for decades !!

Exactly what is there to complain about when the passengers who ride southwest don't have any expectations in the first place? I'm sure if you look at Greyhounds complaint ratio it's low as well.

We have retained CC for another year. Yea!
Now if we can get OT and BAGS back to the top then we can get say we did something.

(On days like this I should change my handle to semi-gruntled.)

For that you will have to unseat ATA Airlines.

Well, DUH.....

Half your passengers can't read or write in the first place much less know how to file a complaint with the DOT.

Sorry couldn't resist.
