Shootr,
I remember asking this question a couple years ago at HPA when the SWA PD folks came. I was filling out the paper app. I was under the impression that an S-3 would be considered fighter/bomber. It hasn't stopped about 15 guys that I know in K'rock who have been hired by SWA.
I checked the app.... thanks.... I didn't know they changed the entry to turboprop/jet.

Will a violation and accident automatically disqualify one from a SWA interview?

The accident and subsequent violation was in 89.
Ag operation: power line strike. violated for Careless operation of an acft.

It was fully disclosed on the application.

Anyone in this situation?

AS a previous SWA PD "insider" I can't tell you if it will automatically disqualify you, but I recommend full disclosure and when you get asked about the incident in the interview process be ready with a response that shows what you learned from the situation and how you have had a clean record ever since. The biggest thing I saw from applicants in similar situations was they harped on the situation for way to long putting more emphasis on the incident than we even wanted too. Answer the questions asked about it and then show them why you are a great pilot now. Any other individual questions feel free to email : [email protected]
