The SWA cowboys were "yukking" it up on the frequency. What an embarrassment.

The SWA devil may care, we are better that everyone else because we are SWA, is getting real old...

Sorry; are you talking about anything in particular? Is this pertinent to the conversation about this incident, or or you just lobbing a random anti-SWA grenade because you have nothing better to say?

The SWA devil may care, we are better that everyone else because we are SWA, is getting real old...

Not as old as the anti-SWA crowd who can't wait to trot out any possible negative thing they can find about Southwest, regardless of veracity or applicability, then turn to random BS when they run out of arguments. Hell, this crowd even appears to be semi-organized, with cheerleaders and everything (imagine General Lee in a letter sweater and a skirt and holding pom-poms)...

FlyUnder

Stay classy, Flyunder.

SWA is doing this stuff all the time.

Who do you fly for? It's always the same morons who never want to admit where they work that rip on SWA, NO CREDIBILITY at all.

I work at Delta and always rip on SWA.....but this thread is great!

Popcorn and fireworks as I lurk on the sidelines. My personal fave is the guy using a Yahoo travel blog to defend a safety record. Priceless!

It's happening over and over again? Really?

Do you know for a fact here that speed was a factor?

Uhhhhh,
If it happened, by definition he was going too fast, prima facie!
But by all means carry on this is way to fun...

Glad you are enjoying the misfortunes of fellow aviators Mr Bill. Even if you think some dudes on FI are jerks, why the enjoyment of this incident?

I have seen the taxiway myself with the jet in the mud. I dont believe speed was even close to be a factor. The taxiway curved and i think both pilots were head down.
