The SWA cowboys were "yukking" it up on the frequency. What an embarrassment.
Sorry; are you talking about anything in particular? Is this pertinent to the conversation about this incident, or or you just lobbing a random anti-SWA grenade because you have nothing better to say?
The SWA devil may care, we are better that everyone else because we are SWA, is getting real old...
Not as old as the anti-SWA crowd who can't wait to trot out any possible negative thing they can find about Southwest, regardless of veracity or applicability, then turn to random BS when they run out of arguments. Hell, this crowd even appears to be semi-organized, with cheerleaders and everything (imagine General Lee in a letter sweater and a skirt and holding pom-poms)...
FlyUnder
You guys need to slow down. You are only hurting yourselves at the end of the day by having this happen over and over and over again.
SWA is doing this stuff all the time.
It's happening over and over again? Really?
Do you know for a fact here that speed was a factor?
Uhhhhh,
If it happened, by definition he was going too fast, prima facie!
But by all means carry on this is way to fun...
Rip me all you want. Your facts don't come from a reliable source. You run airplanes off the runway like its no big deal.
It's well known how you operate. It's not a secret. You can't cover it up much longer.
Bottom line, and I take no pleasure in having this happen to anyone, but the hurried culture and push for more and more productivity at Southwest is a factor is all of these incidents, whether directly or not... pressure to squeeze every second out of the crew/plane which is something masterfully done by Southwest works its way down the entire operation and in some sense the industry... SLOW DOWN.. that's my answer to all of these incidents at EVERY carrier, even my own who thank God has had 0 fatalities in 84+ years.
I have never been rushed or pressured to hurry at SWA by anyone. Ever.
The hurried culture that you are talking about is a thing of the past and not around anymore. And since you don't work here I doubt you honestly know what you are talking about.
Because I live in a vacuum and know nobody at Southwest? Or because I've never been a passenger in the back? Or because I've never sat in the jumpseat?
Well, none of the above. The first step in fixing a problem is acknowledging it exists.
So I guess I live in a vacuum too then because I have never seen what you are talking about while flying here for 8 years?
This will never happen with the SWA guys. They fly for SWA so they are the best of the best and never wrong.....The first step in fixing a problem is acknowledging it exists.
Btw, you play wow?
No, but I love watching the YouTube videos!!
