One thing is a fact. Southwest treats their passengers better than anyone in the industry, and it shows. The 300's are realing showing their age for sure.

Have you EVER seen a legacy carrier hold their flights for connections?

At Southwest, they do it every single day without complaint. And the passengers realize that kind of service.

We (JB) do too...but you can't do it all the time or for too long. Schedule integrity will take a dump and you risk having the "held" flight producing late connectors on the next flight for that ship/crew down line.

Interesting because to get to LAS from LAX you need to go thru PHX-TUS-PHX-OKC-MCI-PHX-LAS. Its possible you could break down anywhere in between.

"Ladies and gentlemen, you better pray that stores has a spare CSD on the shelf."

"Maintenence has been called out to perform an exorcism on the B system hydraulic pump."

Let us pray.

Or as they say in the produce section, "Lettuce pray."

Or for the lions, "Let us prey."
