Now SWA will be going after yet another stronghold of USAir.

They attack them in Phoenix, Vegas, Philly.

The next battle will be CLT.

Look for a merger announcement for USAir soon to follow.

Does airtran go to CLT? I just don't remember seeing them there.

I don't think Delta management is quaking in their shoes. This will be a domestic airline with no international feed to speak of. Add to that the "double-dip" or continued recession and we'll see how all this plays out...

And alpa just got smaller and got 0 ROI after negotiating and spending how much for how long---- another alpa joke and if they think they can convert swapa...... NOT

True about domestic only. And yes it won't affect Delta's international service. However, you can bet they will make a big dent into Delta's domestic services as the Airtran and Swa networks connect up.

Just my opinion......

I hope this doesn't turn out like the ATA buyout in 2005.

A 1 for 1 blend or by relative seniority would be required to make this work.

Thanks for the morning laugh.

Thread title should read "spreading AirTran cheeks farther"

If you don't know what that means you will soon feel what that means after the SW pilots are done with you.
