All on the bottom. As for spending money on type oys it is well worth it compared to staying at regional pay and Most others with the exception of fedex and ups.

The 737 type is a requirement for the job. Just like 1000 Turbine PIC or your ATP. Its a rating thats required. There is no training agreement. You could walk away on your first day on line.... but would you really???

This is just the beginning of some serious hiring at SWA. Rumors of over 2000+ pilots post Airtran Purchase. Unless Oil goes to $200 a barrel..... Then we will all be lookin for work.

So are lawyers, Doctors, Plumbers, Welders, Mechanics, Dentists, and every other worker who paid for their training. Just like YOU did when you paid for your pirvate, instrument, multi engine, CFI, and then worked for substandard wages in substandard conditions building your time, you PAID for that, deal with it.

I was thinking I might need to fill in some of that "space shuttle" time from the application to get a job there. We'll see. Why do they have "space shuttle" type listed, but not SF-340?

Around 3 million in gross pay.
Sounds like like a good investment too me.
