I take personal offense to your assertion that a fighter pilot in the Air National Guard is any less of a fighter pilot than one in the active duty AF. Their training is all the same. Moreover, I am 100% percent certain that if his unit, whichever unit it was at that moment in time, had been called up, he would have gone.

Kerry's medals, BTW, may or may not be genuine. Yes, they are in his records, but medals were easy to acquire when you were the commander of your own little unit and could put YOURSELF in for such things.

As for Kerry's judgement, I don't feel that jeopardizing the safety of your crewmen to pick up an expended rocket launcher from a mortally wounded soldier qualifies as heroic.

Kerry was the one who brought up the past, now he has to live by it. I get a kick every time someone asks him a question and he double talks, a true politician, to make him look good. The gloves are off and Kerry is fair game. His past voting record is well documented and it is his downfall. Besides, he can't win the election; it will mean Hillary will have to wait another 8 years if Kerry is reelected after the first 4.
