I wear silk boxers...they breath easy and allow me to walk around with a semi-stiffy all day long. They have an easy escape hatch in the front...none of that folded over cloth stuff of briefs.

Try wearing anti-embolism stockings. Or support socks. Whatever you want to call them- you will not feel so fatuiged at the end of the day. You can get them in navy or black at a pharmacy or drug store. Just don't tell anyone you wear stockings.
