I believe the $$ saved from the merger of operations will offset the rate change, but the margin will still be extremely thin. The fact remains that our regional management cannot set thier own revenue number. While we are subject to the imposition of a rate that mainline sets we are screwed.

This....

you know after being at one of the Alpa lunches, it seems that medeco is the guy who runs the cnc it's always the same thing that he say's the company is screwing us, pbs is the best thing that happened to us. well some of us know better and we will be sure to bring it up when we get the chance there was already letters left in the crew rooms we will step it up now to make sure the truth about the alpa group is heard

ALPA at ASA is like the Clinton Administration:

"We know what is best for you even though you don't want it........ We have to make these decisions because you are too dumb to know what is best for you"

CM in particular seems to think himself a genius, and pushes agendas based PURELY on what benefits himself the most. Others be damned.

We could start by using just a little capitalization and punctuation so that your posts wouldn't be one giant run on...

I KID, I KID! (Sorry, I couldn't resist...)

So, with that, if it up to the pilots to make the airline profitable, then fine.

It's up to the pilots to get the passengers where they're going safely and on time. We should not be responsible for a failed (or failing) business model. No amount of concessions has ever saved anyone from incompetent management, and no amount of concessions ever will.

Ohhh, you got me...

Whats the truth? Please tell me/us the truth about the ALPA group.

Deep thoughts...

Superb retort to simple advice. Take it or leave it man, your vote will be yours and yours alone, but don't complain on here ever about being underpaid if you're already prepared to accept management first offer. I sometimes wonder if being almost 50% larger than ya'll is a good thing or a bad one...

Where did I say Id take the first offer presented, or that we should?
