Oh yeah and the bottom 60% of CAL pilots had to give up 10% or more relative seniority and add 3 or more years to their Captain upgrade time as well

Yeah, and I lost 14% relative seniority and added 15 years to my upgrade time after the merger with SWA. Cry me a frickin' river.

I'm a bit irritated that the whiny CEOs of sw and jet blue who think that they have a sense of entitlement of Dca and lga slots owned by the combo of us and amr.
What slots were given up during previous mergers?
Guess what.. If us has to give slots at dca, the crybaby carriers will not fly to the smaller cities that we serve.

Funny A USAir pilot calling someone a crybaby.

Also, who cares what the DOJ says, USAPA should just show Doug how you do not have to listen to NO STICKEN judge.

I suggest that the DCA operation be spun off and a low fare carrier be created and based in Roanoke. It could be run by the CEO of BET, and you could call it DC Air!

No? How about Metrojet?

I'm out of ideas.

It comes down to whatever airlines getting the slots keeping service to the smaller towns presently flown on USX RJS... After all Senators need their nonstop ride to work.

I hope we get all the slots bitch. I don't give a sh!t if it takes crying CEOs to make money and give me job security, and promote competition too.

Tribute must be paid to SWA. That's all this deal is waiting on.

Funny I'll admit, however slots are auctioned, and the last time slots at dca were auctioned canyon blue was not the winner, but another kind of blue was.

One small kitten bites the dust, that's all we ask for.

Sorry for the off topic question, but what's with SW kitten thing? It seems to pop up in SW threads quite a bit. Don't get me wrong, it's pretty funny. I'm just wondering where it started. Was there a kitten massacre somewhere in SW's past?

.....and promote competition too.

If we could see your face, I would be amazed to see if you said that without laughing at yourself. We have the best politicians that SWA money can buy. Oh, sorry, LOBBYISTS.

And they'll "Win" them this time too.

Our management knows at what point they can make money on the route, JB just has to have them at any cost, there's a difference.
