The NMB has ruled, as of this morning, that SWAPA is now the sole bargaining agent for all Southwest pilots as well as the remaining AirTran pilots.

So...PCL_128 is no longer an ALPA pilot. :smash:

Doesn't mean it doesn't suck. He may look back a year later and say "thank GOD!", however, losing a place of work he may have believed in can give anyone regrets. Heck I fly with an ex-ATA guy and he rails against Southwest every trip, because they killed ATA (his words) and ATA wasn't even that good of a company.

Nah, it's all about the Atlanta domicile. I wouldn't be able to hold it for a very long time. Somewhere around 8 years, maybe 5 under best case growth. I'm not interested in commuting again, and I have a business in Atlanta, so I couldn't do the commute even if I wanted to. I'd have stayed on working a minimum schedule if I could have held ATL, but that wasn't in the cards after the SLI raping and Gary's lies.

Thanks for explanation. I completely understand your decision. Good luck with your business! I don't agree with a lot of your politics but I know you have been willing to get in the trenches to defend our profession and I respect that.

ATL domicile will be seeing explosive growth didn't you hear? They just made shiny new bathrooms for a reason. They just ordered fighter plane pictures and squadron patches to hang on every wall as well.

On a side note our FA told us they are de culturing the GQ by removing pics from hallways to make it more modern. Has that been confirmed?

Yep-they called and told me to pick up my spacesuit. Nobody cares about it anymore. So I'm sending it to the Chinese.

Riiiiigghhhhtt. It's about a third of the size it was under AirTran, yet they're planning on "growth." I'll be surprised if it's even a domicile at all in five years.
