D.N. email last night said they were gonna recreate pairings again, nothing so far today. What's the deal......... anyone. They should really start handing out beer coupons for all this extra bidding

According to the trainers in the lounge last night, they were going to make a decision this morning. Was hoping to hear something by now though.......

The letter does not state they will rerun the pairings. It says it is being discussed and the association is not happy with the pairings in there current form.

And what flipping airline are we talking about?

"On a comparatively positive note after my conversations with Brad Holt over the weekend, the company has agreed to make a second attempt at constructing a decent pairing solution for March - the second month in a row."

That sounds an awful lot like they are redoing the pairings.....

That letter said a whole lot of nothing....a lot like management. I talked to one of the reps earlier and he said they are still working on the pairings. No decision yet.

Make an attempt. I'm not hearing anything concrete, are you? Have you received any e-mails from the company? Is the deadline on Flica still the 15th at 1700?

ALPA is asking ASA to redo the lines so that pilots can have more min-day credit.

The real question we need to be asking here is how much credit our ALPA reps on full time leave are crediting. Is a reserve captain working as an ALPA rep making 100 hour credit or 75 hour guarantee?

Ask them. They put their number/email address in the email they sent out to everyone.

I don't think ASA has EVER lost money. (May be wrong) Skywest made back all the money they spend on us in 2 years. Nothing but gravy since then.

I think with the DAL contract rate reset from last year when our fee per departure amount was lowered that we are making a nil profit if any at all. Not to mention the merger associated costs that will be shown as a loss. Nevets, when SKYW bought ASA , SKYW and ASA mgmt agreed with DAL that we had to be the second lowest cost Delta Connection carrier within five years of being bought by SKYW. When the 5 year mark hit and we weren't the second lowest cost airline in the Delta Connection program SKYW had to negotiate a new fee per departure rate for ASA so that ASA to be the 2nd lowest in cost no matter what the actual operating cost... So now the company appears to be compensating for less revenue from DAL. I don't know specific details but that is it in a nutshell.....
