mmmmkkkkayyy.... how is that possible with the no compete language with United. I could see it if they use ASA... but otherwise this doesn't make a ton of sense.

If true, it's gives the pilot's a little more bargaining power. SkyWest can't do it, ASA can. ASA needs a fair contract. At the very least, ASA pilot's should make the same as their SkyWest counterparts, and not payrate wise, W2-wise. Anything less and I still vote no.

I believe it was up to 20 "regional jets" to replace the 9 CRJ-700's that Horizon flew for them. No mention of type or size.

I believe there are also some Q-400s in the mix that Frontier will own. Plus the 700s to replace the Horizon stuff.

The RFP was for twenty, 70 seat RJ's....The Q400's will be operated in house by the newly formed subsidiary LYNX aviation. And...IF skywest holdings is the choice for the operation and it ends up being ASA...excellent...glad to see them get some good news as well as growth.

Yeah but JA has also stated that they've offered SkyWest contract to ASA but the union turned it down.

ASA will shift it's remaining 70's to DEN, SKW will fill in, in ATL. End result, ASA is still stagnant, and SKW does an end around and continues to grow.
