You need to read the ASA DCI Agreement closely.

A. ASA agrees that, except as otherwise directed or approved in writing by Delta, in Delta’s sole discretion, (i) the Aircraft may be used only to provide the air services contemplated by this Agreement (the “Delta Connection Flights”) and (ii) the Aircraft may not be used by ASA for any other purpose including, without limitation, flying for any other airline, providing charter services other than pursuant to Section 1(D) hereof, or on ASA’s own account.

I still maintain that if this goes down, nothing will stop JA from transferring the remainder of the DL 700s to SkyWest to prevent ASA from having any growth.

I just heard Republic just got the RFP from count Duko and will be flying all flights for the Dark side to the far moon of Endore...

Sorry Cinemax has been playing all 6 movies all day long....

hey everybody! bluto knows what the word "sarcasm" means! oh and bluto my good man, what exactly does hearing something "express"--as you so eloquently put it--mean exactly?

You mean the 80% out of ATL? That was signed before the skywest purchase and can be easily changed.

No, that is not what I meant. And no it was not. It was approved by the BK judge and filed with the SEC after the sale.

"Express or implied" is legal terminology, it's usually used when referring to warranties. It didn't apply directly to my statement but I figured someone with average or above intelligence could figure out the meaning from the context. I guess I overestimated your abilities. Google it, maybe you'll learn something. And congratulations on getting the flying!

Oh, and if you're too busy studying for your new airplane, dictionary.com defines it as:
clearly indicated; distinctly stated; definite; explicit; plain: He defied my express command.

A source told me Chuck Norris was awarded the flying.

He's going to fly all 20 RJs at once, by himself.

Crap...can't...pass...up....chuck....thread.....

I also heard Chuck was awarded the flying but his bid was for 2 hookers and a 94 Chevy Blazer...

bluto! you dissapoint me! it's obvious that i'm not "someone with average or above intelligence"! i'm obviously a whole lot less intelligent than you are! but we both know that you heard "express written consent" at the end of an nfl football game and decided it fit your argument...stop padding your post count by responding to 'lil ole me...if you'd like me to give you the word that you were looking for before you went to dictionary.com and found "express" i'd be more than happy to accomodate you...i'll give you a hint...nevermind...you've been on the computer all night clicking the refresh button waiting for me to respond...so go ahead...use the witty comeback you've been working on for the last few hours...i'm sure it's a zinger!

This message is hidden because flylike44 is on your ignore list.

p.s. Flylike44, thanks for helping me improve the quality experience of this website by continuously updating my ignore list. And again, congratulations on all your new flying.

you're no fun...usually i can get at least 4 or five responses before my victim either yawns or ignores me....for that bluto, you have my respect!

Didn't Chuck Norris break the sound barrier in a Q400?

Chuck Norris decides who and what can break the sound barrier.

Shoot...i'm sorry...my facts are all messed up. It was one of Chuck's roundhouse kicks that broke the sound barrier.

Or maybe it was one of Chuck's roundhouse kicks broke a Q400?

Chuck Norris can break the sound barrier anytime he wants with his arms or legs, he doesn't need a Q400 for that...

Are you sure you know Chuck Norris, dude?

Credable sources tell me that xjt has the winning bid HA Ha ha.....
douchbags....

If RAH did receive the flying, would Frontier put baby animals on our 170 tails?

No I think it would be more like road kill pictures, you know bid long red streak down the side of the fuselage along with a mangled body and broken antlers split apart....and oh yeah don't forget the grey matter splattered everywhere on the tail.....ummmm I can almost smell it now .. Frontier Express written in chinese...in honor of the road kill meals

The Q400 doesn't need Chuck's roundhouse kicks to break. It's quite happy breaking all the time on its own!

SkyWest F'd up new hires?

I have had many skywest new hires on my jumpseat recently and noticed a trend that most of them are new and carry an attitude. I dont mean it in a bad way but more are very cocky. I dont mean to put down skywest employees or the pilots, but has SW lowered the bar? Most of the SW pilots i know are truely professional and overall good people.

We had a new hire over the weekend jump-seating and he kept on calling us "dude." He was very lound in the cabin and even said some stuff to the flight attendant that was uncalled for. Most of the recent new hires that i have met come in with attitude and i am just surprised. I will elaborate more later since i have to catch my flight.

I don't think it's necessarily the airline's (skywest) lowering the bar. . . . I just think it's a new generation of kids starting to get jobs. Most new hires these days at almost any regional are in their early 20's, and have been spoonfed life since they were born. Many don't know how to act in public, and more still think they're owed their position in life, instead of trying to earn it. That being said, I've noticed it too with some of the newer pilots i've been running into. I think they just need a good swift kick in the ass and a stern talking to when they act inappropriately. It's something their parents should have done, but if it has to be done, others should step up without shame. :pimp:
