The results of the pay proposal vote are in. With 2376 of pilots participating the totals are:
1669 For (70.2%)
707 Against (29.8%)

absolutely speechless....

My fellow SkyWest Pilots lower the bar yet again....... I am sorry everyone. I was one of the 900 for ALPA and 700 against this POS.

absolutely speechless....
Honestly, you can't really be surprised. It seems that two-thirds of your pilot group is consistently spineless.

 God.....banging head against the wall!!! So sorry fellas. Im also part of the 29.8% minority and voted for ALPA too.

<rant>I also voted no, but you guys are the disgrace. While I dont agree with my coworkers coming on FI and apologizing for everyone lacks class.</rant>

I Agree with JoeS --- Grow Up people. Better idea, quit and join an ALPA carrier and then see if life gets any better.

 You people are so full of shat your eyes are brown.

Heh - my buddy who flies there is bout ready to slit his wrists over Alpa being shot down, and now this. He's seriously 'bout ready to walk away from the cockpit forever. I honestly thought that this at least would be voted down.

Maybe you 911 ALPA types and 707 "NO" types at Skywest ought to look around and realize how far out of touch you are with the majority of the people with whom you work. Maybe the problem over there is standing in the mirror every morning when you're brushing your teeth.

That skywest forum had a poll that showed 70% voting against this pay proposal and 30% voting for it. Exactly the OPPOSITE of what actually happened. That stinkin' forum really takes the true pulse of your pilot group - NOT!!!!!!!!!

Go figure.

Vtech, you probably shouldn't be comparing those 900 and 700 (hmm, sounds like a sequel to 300) to the spineless guys at Skywest, but rather to all the other pilots who fly the same equipment you do. You know, the ones you just stabbed in the back by accepting such crap rates? Methinks those 700 are pretty much on the same page as the rest of us.

The rates the Skywest pilots just voted on are essentially the same rates ASA approved last fall. Are ASA's rates "crap rates" too?

Are these rates not better than the majority of the regional industry? For the most part, step in the right direction. We just need some unity to keep pumping a little more respect and cash out of the company.
