Nicely said, point well taken, except for the part "far more to loose than any dispatcher" I'm sure you meant lose.

Which is why I don't have a problem with you at all. I have nothing against dispatchers. My beef is with XPOO. He seems to think that he has a place in telling a bunch of pilots what is best for them on the union issue. He needs to stop worrying about pilot unionization and start worrying about his profession.

So what if I am an anti-union tool? I don't hide that fact. And never once have I told any pilot what to do about their future. I have, however, given my opinion seeing as how your decisions affect my work environment, as well as every employee in the SkyWest family. Therefore, I am looking out for my own interests, just as you are about yours. You, however, want to belittle people for having a different opinion than yours, and I cannot only respect your opinion, but applaud it...and perhaps give it a little ribbing now and then. All in jest, I remind you. PBR is just a straight up *sshole. I don't care to converse with him and hope to God I never find out who he/she is. As long as PBR stays outta my biz, I'll stay out of his. I have tried to be civil with that person, but he/she continues to berrate me and my fellow dispatchers. His/Her examplary teamwork with and reguard for his fellow dispatcher is attrocious, and defies the the principle of CRM.

Yup!
Was here before you and will be here long after you move on to that furniture sales job. For you this job is just between the 7-11 and the furniture store jobs, ask Wally he might be able to get you on at Subway. CRM, last time I checked you aren't crew, just a pogue with a keyboard.
Get over yourself, I am!

PBR, are you thirsty? Can I get you an ice cold one. Here, have mine.
No thanks, Jack-N-Coke will work, 2 day drunk and still opening the whoopazz on wally and xpoop, too easy, really.
PBR

XPOO,

I'm willing to be that you and PBR have crossed paths a lot more often than you think. I' d bet your name has appeared on his releases lots of times.

Not really, I hardy ever do releases. But he may have taken an APU deferred A/C and swapped a few planes in one day. LOL!

Yap,
Thats what make a professional, I do what the company asks, as long as its safe and legal. You on the other hand get a chubbie thinking you are causing me grief, guess what the best and worst you have to offer is just another day at the office for me. But you are destined to spend the rest of your sentence chained to a computer and staring at the walls of your cubicle, I on the other hand can stay at SKYW or move to a carrier that will allow me to see more of the world. Hope that Subway job comes thru, study hard I hear Subway U is tough on morons!
PBR

Not to get in the middle of "mine is bigger than yours" but....

The pay "vote" opens tomorrow....

Vote "YES"... it's all we will ever see!!!

sincerely....
your friend...

I havn't read any of the preceding pages, no interest in that...just a quick point though. If ALPA was voted in, we would have waited at least 2 years for a new pay proposal. Didn't ASA wait 4 years?...not really sure on that. But we have a raise now if this gets voted in with the chance of doing a quick pay negotiation in two years. I'd rather collect now then get another later. By the way, I did vote for ALPA, SAPA has no negotiating power...so we should take what their giving now and look to our future in the future.

You are right. SAPA has virtually no leverage. Your quick pay negotiation in two years will amount to just bringing you just below whoever the next ASA is. And this is precisely why unions are needed. With the profitability Skywest has had for 35 years, their pilots should be industry leading, like SWA pilots.

Another point, this "negotiation" took just two months. Nothing would have stopped management from moving this quickly if ALPA would have been successful.
