Skywest Jet Class Jan 06'???

I was hanging out at DEN today and a couple of Jet Capt. said people getting called for classes in Jan., anybody know anything. Probably just scuttlebutt.

Do you know what the junior bases are? I know ORD is one, but can you get SLC or DEN out of class? and how senior is LAX (i knowits only a reserve base)?

lax is pretty senior on the jet, pretty junior on the 120.........slc or den can be had fairly quickly for the jet, not so easy on the brasildo....imp:

Has anyone out there actually gotten a call for a class date? I was told that I was number 18 in the pool, and would be in the first class, whenever that happens. So far, I haven't heard anything.

Heard a rumor there will be a class or two in Jan, probably in the 2nd half of the month. No details on what kind of classes, though.

From the standing bid list this morning, 12/13/2005:

"New Bids cannot be added at this time. Reason: awarding CRJ CA and EMB CA classes"

This indicates that there is some hope of a January newhire class (unless we're so fat on FOs -- a distinct possibility -- that they don't need to replace any yet). I'm guessing these classes are going to be quite small.

From what I heard from last week's update, it could start in the end of Jan. or maybe even end of Feb.
