Believe it or not, EFB revisions from Jepp cost more than paper revisions from Jepp. This number probably changes as Jepp adjusts their costs, but the last number I heard was 4% more. Right now EFB is new and cool technology so it's more expensive. In order to make it cost effective we would no longer use Jeppeson for revisions unless they want to significantly lower their costs.

The demo I saw was enhanced NACO charts. They were colored in to show terrain, etc. Jepps are better, but if it means no more revisions, bring on the NACO!

I do my revisions on company time. It doesn't matter to me, and hey, doing a revision means I still have a job!

I would rather have paper Jepp charts than some hoky NACO system. Those I know in the corporate world with EFBs say they're not exactly ready for prime time.
