A little bird is saying Skywest is looking to marry Atlantic Southeast/ExpressJet with another carrier. The name that has popped us is Eagle. Very interesting stuff to ponder. It's no secret that we're looking at partnering with other mainline carriers, and that AMR has been looking to divest itself of Eagle for quite some time.

That makes sense! Inc cannot even make the ones they have work correctly. It would be a awesome version of "Hoarders" on TLC channel.

Don't think so... They are still choking on xjt... First loss in 25+ years... Doubt they are looking at anything right now. In 2 years maybe..

Disagree- economy of scale. Route structure and contract work without the management and infrastructure cost.

How many pilots would that be for a combined Asa/xjt/eagle and skywest?

Nevermind.

There's not a whole lot more flying that ASA/XJet will be able to do with a single certificate. One seniority list and a few certificates like Republic does it sounds like a solution when you get to fly for that many carriers.
