I wouldn't worry too much about that. SkyWest isn't in the business of hiring more than they need, they'd rather run extremely lean for a while. Additionally, while the 50-seaters may be phased out in the future, we still operate Brasilias, if anything's going anytime soon, it's them.
Having said that, though, there's no such thing as a sure thing in this industry. Make the best choice you can with the information available and don't look back. On the bright side, if you get furloughed, you'd be part of a history-making group at SkyWest since they've never furloughed, yet.
