Hi all,

I was told that right on the first day of class we are going to be given a test based on the package that we receive from fedex. It this test multiple choice? how many questions and what is the minimum grade to pass? for the EMB 120

thank you

Memory items and limitations. It's a fill-in-the-blanks test. You have to write the answers verbatim. I'm not kidding either. You have to get 100% to pass the test, but don't worry. If you don't get 100% on your first try, you'll take the test over and over again until you get a perfect score.

thanks you

I am studing the package and there are some items that are not bold, should I study those as well? are they usefull anyways

You can miss 2 on the limitations and 0 on the emergency memory items.

You do not need to know the non bold items.

Grown school? I had to come here just to see what this was about.

CRJ2008, it's ground school -- as in, school ... on the ground. "Grown" is a different word entirely. I'm thinking perhaps you are not a native English speaker; in which case, you might appreciate the correction.

If you are a native English speaker, you must have been absent the day they covered spelling. (Get someone else to proofread your resumes.) ;)

81Horse:

Did you get stuck in traffic on the way home today and someone flipped you the bird? Seems a little out of character.

thank you reverse sensing :)

Is good to know I am not the only one thinking 81horse needs to take his pills

I understand how hard it is to type with one hand, what with all those new limitations and memory items spread all over the desk.;)

Yes -- it is time for my meds. Here comes Nurse Ratched now!

C'mon, someone has to be Grammarian-in-Chief; Occam's Razor seems to have lost the heart for it.

Grown school? Grown school? CRJ, I left you an out: you could still claim English is your second language. :D

edit to add: yes, thanks for noticing! I am torqued off at the world today. Sorry you got caught in the crossfire, CRJ.

Thank God it's not a spelling test.......

You wont have to take the memory item/limitation test until week 2. Dont sweat that stuff for the first day.

Skywest gives a test the first day of class? I also heard that they ask 50 questions from the ATP written in the interview?

What do they think they have over there... the Space Shuttle?

I'm talking to you, too, blzr.

From the DVD Times:

http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/reviews/region2/oneflewoverthecuckoosnest.html

Sometimes, a film is so powerful that it's difficult to be objective about how good a piece of film-making it is. "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" is an example of this problem. It has such devastating emotional impact and such brilliant performances that the fact that it is merely efficient as a film seems rather irrelevant.

Jack Nicholson, back in the time when he gave performances rather than state visits to unworthy films, plays Randall P. McMurphy, a drifter who has been imprisoned for statutory rape of a fifteen year old girl. Refusing to conform to prison regulations, he has been sent to a psychiatric hospital for observation. He proceeds to attempt a full-scale rebellion against the iron rule of Nurse Ratchet (Louise Fletcher", who believes that all her patients should behave, sitting quietly and listening to the muzak she pipes into the ward.

You're back for more? Like the DVD Times is definitive? Jeebuz.

Ratched. With the d.

Go to Amazon, and read an actual page from the actual, original book by Ken Kesey. The author. Who wrote the book. Who made up the character names. Before the movie.

Owned twice.

Own me? Not........................but right you are. I'm also aware of who wrote the book. Even read it in high school, but sure remember it with a 't'.

Shall we talk about the "word" irregardless?

He he,

Nah. My work here is done. I'm like a terrier with a pull toy: eventually I drop it.

Yes, there is a test the first day of class. The first question is:

1) Which class are you attending?
a. Grown School
b. Ground School
c. Growned Skool

If you answer a, you become Captain
If you answer b, First Officer
If you answer c, Management

Nurse Ratchet was a fox!!!! -I answered a,can i be a Capt?-by the way any news on EMB120 Capts?

Damn, I messed up.
I guess you don't have to graduate college or high school to work for Skywest.

He spells like my buddies 2 yr old kid. Probably still points up at the sky and says "Airplane".
