Relax, guys and gals. Let's remember something very important. This TA vote was not about the XJT pilot group holding out for more. It was about the XJT pilot group merely holding-on to what it has. If SKYW is that broke and in such a weak competitive position, then this TA would not have saved them. Also, let's not forget that the Skywest Airlines pilot group is more expensive to operate, according to last quarters financial report. Their flying contracts are just more lucrative than XJT's. Therefore, any future flying awards would cost more to operate if Skywest pilots are doing it. Unless of course they take more concessions. It's all up in the air, but it has been that way for the last 6 years; just ask all the XJT pilots who were furloughed or displaced over that time. Stop running around and yelling "the sky is falling!" It has been falling for a while.
