DENVER - Passengers onboard a Delta Connections flight to Denver International Airport say they were delayed for more than an hour Tuesday night after their plane got stuck in snow on the Tarmac.
if (LinkCount>0){ var linkselement=document.getElementById("links"); if (linkselement!=null) { linkselement.style.visibility="visible"; }} else { var spanElement = document.getElementById("links"); if (spanElement != null) { spanElement.innerHTML = ""; }}

The SkyWest flight was coming from Salt Lake City into Denver.
A spokesman at DIA says the plane landed safely and was taxiing to its gate when the pilot tried to turn on to a taxiway that had not been re-opened yet.
A bus was sent to pick the passengers up while the plane was dug out, officials say.
No injuries were reported in the incident.

Probably one of those 21 month captains.

It's because we're non-union, probably.

That Captain better call his Safety Committee and fill out an ASAP form.

If this had been a MESA plane it would have 4 pages of discussions bashing the pilots. But b/c it's a Skywest plane it must have been the airports fault. :erm:

I am sure the CA made the wrong turn because he is: non union / 70 seat pay sucks / is stealing flying from ASA, Comair, & Air Wisky / probably had his I pod turned up / and he has spikey hair. I m sure their are a few other things that I left out.

Anyone that would take pleasure in someone else's misfortune needs to be taken behind the shed and beaten with a baseball bat...

Yes this means you Knob!!!!!!

Global warming !!!!!!!!

It is Pres. Bush's fault...no, no...T.O. did it!! Hell he's done everything else except catch dam the football...lol

Hey toolbag (pilot w/o a brain), I do not take pleasure in others misfortune, that could be any airplane stuck on that taxiway if you don't pay attention to the NOTAMS. See ya after school, tough guy!

HHHmmm....well, how about the major airline captain who landed on a taxiway at EWR...uh oh...let's not touch the majors...because if we do that here on this board, where all we do is bash those who made it to regionals with less efforts than we did, then we won't have a 'leg to stand on'.

Lets just '...push that under the rug' and keep bashing regional pilots for the mistakes they make...

OK, I'm done.
So, what do you think about the major airline pilots who landed on a wrong taxiway. For me, I'd much rather get stuck in/on closed taxiway than land on a taxiway.

DEN ALL WEATHER AIRPORT should be ashamed of how they move snow. How many days does it take to clean off the GD taxiways.

Props are for boats.

Somehow I see this turning into a PFT arguement......

The backpack man, don't forget the backpack.

Was it on one of those snowy days, where you can't see the markings? When the whole darned ground is white that's pretty easy to mess up.
