Crash Pad said:I got to hand it to the Union types. The ASA Union rarely wins a grievance, has not won a contract, and I'm sure very rarely gets someone there job back or bails them out of a violation. I enjoy the argument though and since you all pay good money to hear how much better it is with a union...
I am now paging all the disgruntled Skywest pilots!
Crash Pad said:Come on I said disgruntled Skywest pilots. Not disgruntled ASA... We all know you are disgruntled at ASA...

Crash Pad said:So one upset Skywest pilot and another disgrutled ASA. I have to say it can't be that bad over there if all you can do is muster one guy. I didn't ask for any disgruntled ASA guys but they are so disgruntled they couldn't help themselves.

One that I know of was when the FAA was after a guys certificate over an incident in SHV.....another involved an intern (you ASA guys probably know which two I'm talking about). Those guys would have been long gone at SKW, but here they are still flying the line. I'm surethe work rules are some better over there, no doubt about that, but it's hard to put a price on job security. Whether you screw up accidentally or intentionally, it's nice to have that that ALPA card in your wallet.
