I got to hand it to the Union types. The ASA Union rarely wins a grievance, has not won a contract, and I'm sure very rarely gets someone there job back or bails them out of a violation. I enjoy the argument though and since you all pay good money to hear how much better it is with a union...
I am now paging all the disgruntled Skywest pilots!

Please pile on and tell us about your contract being changed daily.

Tell me about all the F/O's and Captains that have been fired out of hand.

Tell us about the guy who was at the company for a week and upgraded because he was friends with somebody high in the chain.

List all the guys who have been violated... Especially tell the stories about the guys who have been violated who could have been saved had they only had proper representation.

Spout off about your current contract. Tell every ASA pilot out there why they should pay 1% a month or else end up like you.

Finally, don't forget to tell ASA what it is like working for Skywest. The horrible everything. Tell us how you all sit around a b!tch about your current contract. Tell us how you all sit around a b!tch about scheduling... Stories about a family vacation in Jamaica that was ruined by a phone call from scheduling and a junior man the next day are good here.

ASA can get a 1% raise if they dump ALPA. Most of the pilots (50 seat crews) would get a raise. The work rules would improve. So I want to hear from every disgruntled Skywest pilot out there. Please show the ASA pilot group why it is better with a Union.

Wow, you are truely out of touch with what is going on at ASA. Unless you are on probation ASA can't even fire someone properly, there are a few CR7 CA's in both domiciles you can look to as proof of this.

We haven't won a grievance? I would disagree with that. Duty in to departure time is one. It doesn't help when Bill Hiers comes in and shreds the contract and has folks like ND sell the pilot group out. I really can't wait for CS to come back to the line!

Keep on spreading lies, you just make yourself look like a moron!

CrashPad is probably some mgt puke who is bored at the GO. It makes for a long day when you are an incompetent management flunkie who can't pass the time looking at kiddie porn on the Delta intranet.

50 seat pay for up to 99 seats? What do you call that?

Come on I said disgruntled Skywest pilots. Not disgruntled ASA... We all know you are disgruntled at ASA...

Disgruntled? More like unhappy that Mesa and CHitaco are passing us by. We are looking like the bottom feeders.

PAD, do you want to fly a 70 or 90 seat plane for 50 seat pay?

A 17yr guy was fired for refusing to fly when he and his crew were spent and not fit for duty. Unless you have the $$$ to find a lawyer your out of your career on your neck.

PBS or Bid Pref= your QOL will go farther into the toilet. The software we are using is not proven and untested by any other company. SGU won't even tell us who makes the program. We never were allowed any say in this. It is spoon fed with a shovel down our necks.

There is more to come. If you really need more. flying a 70 or 90 for 50 seat pay is enought for most to want a real contract. We dont' even have a contract at SkyW we are "at will" employees. We have a policy manual that is changed at their will. For exp. We had increase 70 flying this summer. The bids for this went super jr. Crap 4 days that start am and end 11pm on the 4th day. Uncommutables. Pilots that were SR> and trained on the 70 were forced to fly these trips for 2 to 3 months. So you go from locals, 2days, 3days to 4 DAY dog pile trips with no notice. IF you had Plans to go to your son or daughters activities this summer,,,,to bad you will fly the 70 because you are trained. NO questions asked or there is the door. And the kicker is our employee group SAPA> a special secret meeting was convened in order to get this TA passed. 4 out of prob 20 or so reps decided our fate. No vote no notice no vaseline they just throw your seniority out the window.

Even more reason to merge senority lists to prevent our Careers to dive farther into their bank accounts.

He agreed that he didn't think the pay proposal would be approved so we asked him then what. He said that maybe next time the 1.2% wouldn't be on the table, everyone else is taking concessions these days and SkyWest is still offering a small increase (moving the ball in the right direction so to speak). He said he understood people making a stand on principle i.e. 50-99 seat pay, but in this environment those who stand on principle "Will fall by the wayside." He emphasized what happened to AWAC and said he had serious doubts about weather on not Comair will survive. Just casual chat in a quiet breakroom not a PR job delivered to the masses, there was only me the FO and the FA in the room. FWIW I voted no.

Well lets see...

1. Wrong.

2. You do not "win" a contract. You negotiate for one.

3. Wrong. Most of the arbitrations that are won are getting pilots their job back. The violations, well ALPA does 100% better than the company. They just feed you to the FEDS.

So one upset Skywest pilot and another disgrutled ASA. I have to say it can't be that bad over there if all you can do is muster one guy. I didn't ask for any disgruntled ASA guys but they are so disgruntled they couldn't help themselves.

Management ass clown...get back to work.

You are just pissed because you are going to be out of job when they put chains on the door at the GO. Maybe you can get your old job back at Long John Silvers in East Point.
