Where would I go? Most everywhere else is already much closer to Socialism. We're the lone holdout. :(

No, we're the most taxed socialist nation in the world. How much do you pay in total tax? Sales, property, state, local, car tags, Social Security, Medicare, then Federal.

Well then be sure to pull the handle in two weeks for Obama, because he needs another four years to complete our transformation into another France.

Spoken from another guy who thinks he's not middle class.

Hate to break it to you, but we are no different than a railway worker in 1865, we just don't carry a pick axe......

I don' think railway workers back then were as "kind" to people who crossed the line.

You ever seen the taxes over there? 75% top rate. Of course, we appear to be headed that way if you know who gets elected.

Not sure if things recently changed, but both France and Portugal are very pilot friendly. They offer the lowest tax rates in Europe, and it "might" even be a lower effective tax rate than here in the US.

Portugal is pushing their own people to seek out work in Portugese colonies, like Brazil and Angola. France has a leader that now taxes anyone who makes over $1 million Euros at 75%, and people are leaving in droves. Europe is collapsing on itself.

Bye Bye---General Lee

Agreed, but if you think whichever idiot we get in office can unilaterally change the tax code, we are mistaken.

It takes all the village idiots in congress to fix it.

Bill, I've always realized I'm middle class (okay, maybe upper-middle class). It's the 'Bamster who insists I'm "rich" every time he gets in front of a teleprompter.
