I am paying my dues at a 121....I'm not a pilot.....I decided not to join that bitter crowd a few years back...I'm also not a kid....I certainly don't think like one and make comments like one as opposed to a lot of you.

See, Ogres are like onions....they have layers....they also smell like crap, but taste oh so good when they're cooked and going down......tool.

There has been an upward trend for quite some time based on what you have said so they did not see this? Or put in place any contingencies? Charging 10 bucks for a ticket when we are at war or tense relations with oil producing countries (which spawns that fear) doesn't seem like a viable strategy to me.

Funny that you mentioned that because I have a hard time understanding that as well. The price of oil may be worth one figure and fear, speculation or some Arab in Opec is feeling irregular drives the price up. As a result the oil companies walk away with record profits.

I don't think the real price of oil has increased that much......the US dollar, however, is worth less and less, helping to drive the "price" up, not the value.

I'm going to laugh when in 5 years most of you are applying to Skybus and being turned down...

Who would have guessed America West would be buying USAir and making an offer on Delta 5 years ago?

Who would have thought ValueJet would be one of the best paying airlines today?

Go on, keep bashing Skybus, it will only make their success that much more sweet.

Pound sand idiot..........

SO the whole industry should have lower wages and work rules JUST to make some pukes in Columbus happy?!!

May SkyBus die a quick and painful death.

Hopefully, they will be out of business ASAP.

People that go to work for that joint should be ashamed of themselves.

Why doesn’t Skybus just follow the Gulfstream International model (pay $25,000 to fly for a year). I’m sure the same morons (they have now) would sign up just so they can fly an Airbus.

You dont know what your talking about...stop selling lies.

I'm bookmarking this thread so I can virtually laugh into your anonymous internet face you piece of ********************.

why would you wish SX to fail? So you wish for families to have their livelihoods destroyed? Think about all the negative things that happen when a company goes out of business. I hope your dog dies!....does that make you feel good? Probably not...so don't go wishing bad things on anyone else. Grow up!
And on a side note, not everyone takes jobs purely for the money...it's a quality of life for many people....people take jobs for less money all the time when they factor in what kind of life they get to have with it.....maybe higher seniority.....being home everynight....being close to family.....being around people who are generally nicer than where they were working before....maybe those things are more important to people.

Is your version of quality of life flying for dirt a billboard and having your passengers irritated the entire flight to purchase useless things? I hope your dog dies??? Good one; my 2nd grade cousin could come up with that. Oh yeah, you are flying that big bad Airbus though...you have that going for you...get real man

And we'll be doing the same when you and the rest of the Skybus pilots end up on the street, probably next year.

What about being home every night is not quality of life for you? Or do you not know anything about it since based on your profile you've clearly never had to fly away from your family and kids (if you even have any) for any period of time?

Dude, get at least one real type rating on your resume before you start running your mouth to pilots that might have been flying when you were born.

This place is filled with idiots, why do I keep coming back?? My wife is right, these message boards are for losers, I need to get off them and get into the real world.
