977 is supposed to drop off the certificate at the end of the month to be replaced by another 400.

Company is experiencing the pains of bankruptcy and transition to new ownership. Lots of new contracts (including Guam service starting this month). Will definitely need more pilots to handle them. Lots of talk after latest cutbacks - but I haven't seen anyone actually leave yet. Hoping to emerge from bankruptcy 2nd or 3rd quater this year. Hopefully good things will happen after that.

So now that the company has emerged from bankruptcy, is the insurance program better now?

Company currently pays $125 a month towards coverage that ranges up to $850 a month for a family. Promises of improvements - which may depend on the results of the union election currently underway.

Aggressively hiring at this time. Cuba market is very strong.

What's the latest here?

Next new hire class is first week in January. Things continue to get better around here (from what I've seen). Payroll issues have been cleaned up, they are stepping into the 20th century technology wise with scheduling and are continuing to take "newer" airplanes.

Pay should be restored to book rates January 1st. There is still a lot of room for improvement but things are moving in the right direction.
