If you can quickly slide into a turbine powered beast then thats the way to go. Too many cfi to rt seat rj guys out there. Go fly some freight and build the time (and character) You'll be a better aviator as a result.
 
Yes, you will be a better pilot for it. Nothing like having the O2 Mask on while fighting a Fire and shooting an approach to Mins, and still getting the cargo there on time so the UPS Rampers dont get Piced offf at ya. Just bite your tongue when they do get upset and walk away a better man on his way to a 121 carrier with some good stories to tell in your interviews.

Best of Luck, Its by no means Glamourous but its a fast way to get the time and accelerate your career when compared to 121 SIC for a Regional. Be careful out there. Freight Dogs Do It Better.!!!!! :)- ........
