I'd love to say the yoke, but the side stick is definitely the best option for medium and long haul flights.

An L1011-250 or -500 same cockpit but with no FE, modern avionics (B777).

Best hand-flying airplane I've ever flown.

After recently flying the 737 and the A320 I would choose a mix of both if possible. The sidestick makes for a roomy cockpit. I prefer the NG's auto-throttles, autopilot & FMS. But the bus's screens (ECAM) are a nice feature.

As the others have said though, it's all about the QOL.

Baja.

You prefer the NG FMS?
I love re-entering the city code every time to update weather and how every spurious message gets priority over what you're typing..

Must be a different version...The Ng FMS would auto-update the wx. Scratch pad and line select much more friendly than the Bus.
