Maybe even make a little..,
I thought about it, If I was to put 700hrs. on a twin there's no way you can make any money when you sell unless you put some money back into the plane and if I was to account for maintenance and inspections you would be lucky to break even

You're right I'm probably not real good with money. Luckily I'm a cargo pilot and don't have to be good with money right now. However, it seems to me that breaking even and getting the experience is cheaper than paying for experience. I chose this route while trying to build total time instead of paying for a flight instructor certificate. I bought a little taildragger flew it for 4 years and sold it for 6 grand more than I paid for it. Granted I doubt that I made any money on it after you include fuel, maintenance, tie down fees and so on, but I don't think I lost much either. There are lots of ways to build time and make contacts in aviation without whorring yourself out.

As for me I don't claim to know it all. When I ask for somebodys advice I don't get offended when they give it to me. And really my TT is not all that high either.
Best of luck to you, I hope it all works out.

One thing is to give advise and the other to insult while you're giving it, I take advise very well when the insults are left out. Every doctor and Lawyer that I know have to either pay for an internship or do some kind of service without pay for a year or more specially doctors, Are you saying they are whorring themselves out too? I know there are other ways of getting your time but good quality Part 135 experience in a twin is hard to get unless you have your Part 135 TT. Best of luck to you too on reaching your goal.
GOOD FLYING!!

Interns and residents ARE payed for their services....the only time one pays for training in the medical field is when one does not possess the necessary credentials to practice legally (i.e., medical students).

Attorneys also get payed for their services once they graduate from law school. Again, internships in that field are payed positions as well.

Be careful drawing connections to other fields which you are clearly unfamilar with.

Both of my parents are retired Doctors so I know what I'm talking about buddy. Later.

I'm done talking about this subject. Please no more advise/insults.
Good luck to you all and GOOD FLYING!!!!
