Maybe If You Were Not Twelve Years Old And Had To Instruct Or Pay Some Sort Of Dues To Get An Airline Job You Might Fit In The Uniform..
,

OR....Maybe some of us don't pig out at airport food courts...:).........Just remember, portion control if you do, drink lots of water, easy on the carbs, snack on beef jerky, etc....Gotta love watching the other guy turn sideways just to fit in the cockpit door.

Does anyone know a good place to get shirts for those of us who are not 6ft tall and weight 300 lbs?

I feel your pain. I recently lost 45 pounds, and now I'm 5'5," 137 pounds, with a 42" chest and a 33" waist...seriously. As they used to say, you do the math. The best I've found are the Pilotshirts tapered, like others posted, as well as the Landerwood "athletic" (not "tapered") cut. I have a VH Pilot tapered, like Garff posted, but even that makes me look like I'm wearing a bed sheet. Best of luck in your search.

You can't buy any clothes in this country that aren't cut to the default(lardass) size. Normal folks either have to buy something from Europe with a decent cut or just buy here and have a tailor on staff.

I guess they go on the theory that you can cut more off but you can't add on.

No matter what shirt you get with what taper lets all agree not to where our uniforms "skin-tight". I've seen a couple guys at work that look like they are trying to prove something with their uniforms streached over their bony 160 pound bodies... Save that stuff for your days off - just look "normal" around the rest of us.
