As someone here in NC who has worked with Segrave I have to say the negative comments here are on par. I know the owner, Jim, and let me tell you it should be spelled CROOK. They have had guys in the past flamming out on the runway after landing because they didn't wan't to spend the extra money on fuel in Southern Fla. The dropped the pax and were then repoing to 1 of the Miami area airports to fill up on cheaper fuel. Well, according to the FO they took off for the repo with the Low Fuel lights on. This was on a Citation.
They had an owner pull one airplane from them while in the middle of a trip. Why you ask? The owner found out that Jim Segrave was pulling the Hobbs breaker and flying the Citation on his own time and the owners expense. He was hiding the extra fuel in the true charter trips.
They have no concern for running you over duty times. If you can think of a way to bust times it has been asked by them at Segrave.
I know or have known at leat 10 guys in the last 5 years who have flown for them and none work there now. They all quit. Of course they were all good professional guys that saw through the BS and got out of Dodge. This place is not good. Not safe and not the place to throw down anchor for your career.
This was the nice story about this place. If you want a better understanding of Segrave then send me a message.
