Not as cheap as you'd think. I tried to pick one up after 9/11 (to do an LA-Grand Canyon shuttle) and it was a couple mil.
 
600K is how much it cost for the C check, landing gear AD, and TAWS. Hard to believe you bought the thing for nothing.
 
BigPicture speaks the truth, English. He might even be exaggerating on the high end, I thought they were closer to $500k.
 
Last time I was in BGR -last summer- there were plenty of tired (but up to date MXC wise) A model Saabs getting pinker by the day, just dreaming of a new home.

I would guess that some of those double-digit serial number ships with around 70,000 cycles could be had for a song.
 
Hey, I'd grab a used-up A-model Saab for a half mill before I'd spend the same money on a new light twin. :)
