You guys seemed awfully convinced yaw arent going to be around past the end of the year....Do you guys have evidence other than managements words? Since when did pilots believe them? :D

Heard from a source...that a letter will be issued either Monday or Tuesday with full details of what is happening here....about time...As with all SA employees...we are tired of not knowing anything about our future

Perhaps i'm an optomist, but I can see no reason why SA pilots would not be offered jobs at CHQ/REP except for one instance. If management felt there were undesirable pilots withing the SA seniority that they did not want to employee any longer; otherwise, what better way to hire a good group of pilots. You have their training and work/conduct records already. For legal reasons it may be that you would have to be released then hired by CHQ/REP.

Talked to someone on the EC and there is NO SAAB PAY SCALE. The SAABs will not be coming back to CHQ. BB has made that very clear.

WELL ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS F**** WEXFORD....We have all worked hard for them...and what do we get...and not the pilots...but everyone else....WHO HAD NO CHOICE IN TAKING A PAYCUT...Now will CHQ or Republic hire any of us...NO...because we work for SA...and there is some sort of clause....B*******...so now I am off to ACA...and f**** you WEXFORD

"AS THE SHUTTLE TURNS".........I've decided this will be the name of my new hit reality television show of which all proceeds will be used in the battle of my shuttle brethern 'for the cause'.....oh yeah....there will be weekly updates EVERY week!!

Word around the campfire here at Fort Fun is that a "memo" should be distributed tomorrow which will 'splain our future...

Nothing like telling your employees ahead of time...

As a Chq pilot, I must ad a well done to you guys... you stood your ground just like we did. It wasnt just about you guys... Unlike MEsa (yes, the bashing continues :) ) you stood your ground.. Every other regional was asking for pay concessions and everyone was taking them. No matter what happens you all should be very proud of yourselves. Period.

Reality 101

There are dark clouds gathering over the PIT crew room these days. Why? because we voted down a TA for a 10/5 % pay cut? Lets think about this objectivley.

Get your calculators out folks.

Shuttle America has 120 pilots (conservative #). 60 Capt's 60 FO's for arguments sake.

Capt's get paid an average of $47.04 per Hr.

FO's get paid an average of $23.00 per Hr.

Minimum pay is 72 Hrs.

You still with me?

Total Capt. salary for the month of September should be $203,212.80

Total FO salary for the month of September should be $99,360.00

10% of Capt. pay equals $20,321.28

5% of FO pay equals a whopping $4,968.00

For a grand total of $25,289.28

If Shuttle America has been brought to its knees over $25,289 and change then yes SA should be put out of its misery.

Just my .28¢

Errr... Did you really need to post this under two threads, godsgift?

You can read my response to this the FIRST time I read it on "SA Ruomors" or however it's spelled.

And now for the important math

1. everybody RUN to FWA for your new ID badge

2. finish newhire IOE, sim training, and still holding interviews????

3. mildly attempting to "properly" staff a company that's supposedly going out of business in a month and hasn't been properly staffed for over a year

4. no furloughs (knock on wood) or training freeze

1+2+3+4= doesn't add up

what?? are they all of a sudden preparing to go out in style

BTW.....I never was very good at math:D

Chautauqua Pilot

just spoke to a chq pilot about absorbing us in their seniority.

his comment/ opinnion: "bottom list"

is that way on the bottom or he was just joking?....hmmmm

..i kinda figure we are only less than 100 pilots...probably less by the end of the month and more less on OCT. ..can't get DOH?

i guess we are the step child after all.....

just a long shot in a worst case scenario.......mesa /ccair/ freedom scenario

.2cents

I hear the memo has been sent by Scott and it gives us till Oct. 27th. Does anyone have a copy yet.
