Rumors are flying: Will Southwest Airlines change the look of its planes?

So if the news article posted in the first post is true that the canyon blue fades fast and causes the cabin to heat up, I guess the solution was to paint the whole plane that color... unless this new color is different than the old color, but it looks pretty close to me. New paint formulation maybe?

Me too. Looked like the desert "southwest." Although with that rational, I could argue our jets should painted to look like swamps and mosquitos.

None of them are particularly "spectacular" in my humble opinion, but #3 is beginning to grow on me as the preferred paint scheme. I'm still firmly convinced we could have done better!
