The Delta pilots negotiated and ratified a program of outsourcing to offset higher wages at mainline. After selling your flying it no longer belongs to you. Just because your career tanked does not mean you get to go and steal your flying back. Even ALPA acknowledges this, as can be seen in the hugely concessionary jets for jobs pay rates, as mainline guys try to buy back their flying.
Your hang up with the J4J program seems like it should be with the US Airways folks, not DL, but then your misguided hatred would be all out of whack! Just so we are on the same page, my career has not "tanked" by any means. This is still the greates job in the world. The pay has definately come down, and needs to come back up, but again, more lies from you! Nobody is trying to "buy back flying," just trying not to let more of it slip away, just another way of you to "twist the truth."
The only pilots without a dog in this fight are the regional guys, like the COEX pilots - but - it is "their" flying.

You're ASSuming that its "their" flying, but do you know the specifics of their PWA?? Probably not, but its better just to lie about it!
We didn't "sell our flying." No flying is for sale. ALL DL flying is subject to the DL pilots' PWA, its just that simple. You don't have to like it. Maybe you could file a lawsuit about it!
ALPA's philosophy seems to be that all flying is owned by mainline. Mainline can sell it and other ALPA members can fly it, but it is never "theirs" So once flying enters this alter ego world anyone can perform it, no one can scope it and the lowest price wins the race for the bottom.
Is it really ALPA's philosophy, or some misguided lie propogated by a supporter of an organization trying to bankrupt my union! The race to the bottom is a result of certain MEC's agreeing to the cuts. It is majority rule, and the pilots of those different unions approved the cuts with a majority rule. Maybe you should try suiing them! Again, seems like your fight is not with the DL MEC, but your brethren pilots! But I expect more lies and hatred for the DL pilot group from you!
