BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The Scope Subcommittee was established by the Executive Board in October 2007, as part of a settlement agreement in the Ford-Cooksey litigation. The effective date of the settlement was July 16, 2008.
Appointments to the Scope Subcommittee are mad by the President, subject to confirmation by the Executive Council. Captain Andy Nordgren (EGL), Captain Jim Van Sickle (NWA), and Captain Tim Brown (UAL) have been appointed as members of the Scope Subcommittee, requiring Executive Council review.
