We all find it depressing that the smart money is looking for a way to start new airlines with smaller planes from EMB (yes that includes the 190). We know the evidence points toward legacies looking to get into Ch 11 to reset labor contracts/scope clauses and give 90-100 seat jets to regionals (IMHO that will definitely happen!). Those of us who think SWA and others are immune are not students of history. If this cycle continues even JetBlue and Airtran will become the "high cost" carriers and suffer a fate similar to UAL and Delta. This is the cycle that Americans call "The competitive marketplace". You young pilots at SWA, JetBlue, and Airtran...laugh now while you can. We'll see how things look in 10 years.

I am not prejudice (except ERJ ). I have been in discussions with many pilots on this board from various carriers that are both profitable, and otherwise. I may or may not be right in most of my prognostications but I think anyone who works for the airline I am discussing or may want to work for them, is interested in a contrarian opinion. Fortunately there are pilots who will argue the world is flat, if they thought anyone would question their employers future. This makes for interesting dialogue and in some instances, great entertainment.

Staffordshire/Pitbull terrier is basically the same animal. The american bull terrier (spuds McKenzie) is also part of the same family. I too have a dog we rescued in 1998. He is a fawn and white Staff great home protector and will die to protect my wife and boys!!! He is extremely protective of our 5yr old.
