Fortunately not struggling to make a living, just trying to keep savings and retirement up to previous levels. Have flown with several captains though that freely admit they're working hard to make up for previous mistakes. I just want to make sure I'm not in that position 20 years from now.

Over and over I keep hearing this from both sides. FAT pilots keep saying they have been welcomed and treated well at SWA by the vast majority.

I have to agree. I'm having a hard time buying anything including food on overnights. I just wish I could pick up a trip or two in Atlanta...

I'll miss the "Betty, pick-up" PA at 10,000 vice the cycling of the no smoking sign like almost every other airline does to signal the cabin crew....
